" The protagonist is the sharp-witted Dr. Peter Blood, a fictional Irish physician who had had a wide-ranging career as a soldier and sailor before settling down to practice medicine in the town of Bridgwater in Somerset. He wants no part in the rebellion, but whilst attending to some of the rebels wounded at the Battle of Sedgemoor, Peter is arrested. auf die geschichte wurde ich aufmerksam, als mir die wunderbare comic-umsetzung in die hände fiel.
dank "projekt gutenberg" und meinem aiphone-app "Stanza" hab ich dann die ganze geschichte von rafael sabatini gratis und bequem runterladen und lesen können - wir leben in einer wunderbaren zeit!
